Yes, it’s a bit of shameless self-promotion … but as long as it may serve some better purpose, I’m happy to bear that accusation! I had the chance over the last weeks to have a lovely couple of conversations – call them interviews if you prefer – on RTK Radio (that’s the local church radio back in Malta) on myself and my work. Both programmes are in Maltese, I’m afraid, so not everyone will understand. On the other hand, those who often ask what Maltese sounds like, well, here you go.
The first was recorded while I was in Malta over Easter, for a programme Għidli dwarek led by Fr Keith Bonnici. We chatted about my work in general, my Jesuit vocation, my archaeological interests (especially Fr Emmanuel Magri), and my pastoral work with scouts.
The second was a live programme Follow up,# led by Sylvana Debono in the RTK studios, with me in Skype contact from Rome. We spoke more about my archaeological work in the Holy Land, and how this can help us understand the Bible and our faith better. My interview is in the first part (roughly half and hour) of the programme.
So, if you’ve missed them and would love to hear them, here you go!
