I santi non vanno messi su piedistalli alti, rendendoli così diversi e irraggiungibili (e a debita distanza per non disturbarci!), ma lasciati per terra, vicini a noi, diventando inconvenienti, perché ci sfidano a smuoverci dalle nostre paure e chiusure, e ci ricordano che anche noi ce la possiamo fare. Saints should not be put on a high pedestal, making them different and unreachable (and conveniently distant, so as not to disturb us!), but should be left on the ground, close to us, becoming inconvenient, as they challenge us to move away from our fears and closures, and remind us that we too can make it.
