Oggi è IDAHOT – La Giornata internazionale contro l’omofobia, la bifobia, la transfobia. Battersi contro l’odio e le -fobie, in tutte le sue forme, è solo l’inizio; siamo chiamati a molto di più.

Possa questa verità che Dio dice a te personalmente trovare una risonanza profonda nella tua vita. Senza se, senza ma. Il buon Dio ci ha formati nel grembo materno, e Dio vide che era cosa buona. Lascia che questo scenda in profondità per non solo accettare, ma celebrare chi sei. Una volta che ci scopriamo così profondamente amati, non possiamo che celebrare i nostri compagni di strada in questo mondo.

Today we mark IDAHOT – the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia. Struggling against hate and -phobias, in all its forms, is only the beginning; we are called to so much more.

May this truth that God speaks to you resonate profoundly in your life. No ifs, no buts. The good Lord formed each of us in our mother’s womb, and God saw that it was good. Let that sink in, and learn not only to accept but celebrate who you are. Once we discover ourselves deeply loved by God, we cannot but celebrate our companions along the road in this world.
