A tale of two guide books! Two brothers, in very different fields (my brother is a professor at the Faculty of ICT, University of Malta), neither of whom were terribly adventurous as kids, discovering ourselves more outdoorsy as we grow older, who both ended up publishing two guide books — mine, Ignatius in the Holy Land. A Guided Pilgrimage (Messenger Publications, Dublin), his, Country Walk in Malta (Midsea Books, Malta) — off the press within weeks of each other.
