Now it’s official. After the deliberation of the Biblical Faculty at the Pontifical Biblical Institute earlier this month, I have been promoted to “Professore Straordinario” (i.e. Associate Professor). I don’t think anything would have prepared me for the rollercoaster ride it’s been so far (with various roles and responsibilities), but then I wouldn’t be where I am now, if I didn’t face what I did.

Finalmente è ufficiale. Dopo la deliberazione della Facoltà Biblica del Pontificio Istituto Biblico qualche settimana fa, sono stato promosso a Professore Straordinario. Temo che nulla m’abbia preparato per tutto ciò che ho vissuto (nei vari ruoli e responsabilità), ma d’altro canto, non sarei qui se non avessi vissuto tutto questo.
