The greatest temptation is the voice that whispers in our ear that we are unlovable, that God cannot possibly love us as we are, that we need to earn to deserve God’s love.

Strangely, we often prefer to struggle to love God and neighbour, than to accept that God loves us unconditionally. No ifs, no buts. Fullstop.
